For fans of reality TV, Made In Bondi—Australia’s own spin-off of UK hit Made In Chelsea—is basically the best news for local television since the last season of MAFS. The premise is simple: Throw together some genetically and financially blessed young Australians, and watch them fight, love, and make petty drama out of mostly unrelatable (but usually hilarious) beef.
Arguably one of the most exciting things about the new series, is that it’s filmed on our very own shores. Whether you’re looking for the most picturesque new restaurants, luxury holiday hotspots or the best cafes for your strawberry matcha hit, the Made In Bondi location scouts have you covered for tips.
Here, a list of the best Made In Bondi filming locations for you to live out your reality TV fantasies in Oz.
Made In Bondi Filming Locations
An ideal bucket list for tourists and locals alike.
Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay
Just like Sydney Sweeney’s Sydney-based rom com, Anyone But You, the Made In Bondi team took full advantage of the city’s iconic and beautiful harbour to film a few boat scenes. (Of course the Made In Bondi needs some good maritime drama.) For us normies who can’t afford to rent luxury yachts, there is the budget-friendly option of simply strolling the beautiful concourse.

Opera Bar, Sydney
A trip to Sydney Harbour is never quite complete without a stop at Opera Bar. The popular watering hole and eatery is a Sydney institution, thanks largely to its idyllic view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Tamarama Beach, Sydney
It’s safe to say you’ll see the cast filming all up and down the beaches along Sydney’s coast, however, in these early days, we know for certain that lovers Pippa and Lawson were seen filming at Tamarama.
Hotel Ravesis, Bondi
The most famous pub on the Bondi esplanade, of course the Made In Bondi cast was going to hit up Ravesis. Cast member Bella Salerno, who grew up in the UK, even noted it as her favourite filming location of the series. “I love the interiors and it’s an iconic Bondi venue to drink and dine in,” she said. “I’ve had my fair share of fun nights there.” Hard relate, Bella.
Centennial Park, Sydney
If you want a good walk to gossip about your reality show castmates, Centennial Park is a good shout. Also good for: Picnics, horse riding and the occasional moonlight cinema viewing.
Bondi to Bronte Walk, Bondi
Speaking of great walking tracks, the king is Sydney’s Bondi to Bronte in the Eastern suburbs.
Hawkesbury River Oyster Shed, Mooney Mooney
If you’re wondering which oyster farm the cast visits in the series, you’re looking for this Hawkesbury institution. The Mooney Mooney Oyster farm is roughly 45 minutes north of the CBD, and is a gorgeous destination for foodies looking to sample Sydney’s famous fresh oysters.

The Whitsundays, Queensland
Every reality series needs a chaotic mini break, and our Made In Bondi stars were treated to one of our finest. The picturesque isles are off the coast of tropical north Queensland. Complete with crystal clear waters and plenty of luxury resorts, it’s the perfect spot for relaxing with some tea (and by tea, we mean gossip).
Jonah’s, Palm Beach
Palm Beach has served as a filming location for many TV series and Hollywood hits before Made In Bondi (e.g. Anyone But You and Home & Away). Situated an hour north of the CBD by car, you could always make like Emma and “her boys”, Billy and Paul, and head to Jonah’s restaurant and hotel by sea plane.
Ester Spirits, Marrickville
Located in the inner west suburb of Marrickville, you might spy the Made In Bondi cast enjoying some award-winning gin at this warehouse-style craft distillery. You just know that if Eastern Suburbs kids go to the inner west, it’s probably for a good reason.
Cruise Bar, Sydney
Billy celebrates his PR agency’s second birthday at Cruise Bar, the venue atop the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney’s Circular Quay.
